Finding balance between work, nursing school, and life can be tricky! I know it took me YEARS and two rounds of nursing school (BSN and NP School) to figure out how to do life, school, and work all at the same time without reaching total burnout within the first few weeks of the semester. Nursing school, whatever type it is, tends to suck the life out of you, and when you combine that with working and tending to your everyday life, it is easy to become overwhelmed. I am certainly no expert on how to “do it all”, but I did survive both an accelerated nursing program and Nurse Practitioner school and kept the same guy around, so that has to count for something, right?! In this video I’ll share my tips for balancing life, work and school. Keep in mind that everyones journey is unique, so at the end of the day, you do what you need to do! You know whats best for YOU.

NURSING SCHOOL STUDY TIPS
Do you need some tips on how to study in Nursing and NP School? One tool I LOVE using for studying was Picmonic, follow this link http://bit.ly/nurse_liz to check out Picmonic for free or sign up for a subscription for full access to the website! Nurinsg School and Nurse Practitioner school requires a ton of knowledge retention, therefore you need to study quite frequently! If you aren’t studying effectively, you won’t be able to learn the material and apply it to your practice, but you will also waste a ton of time that could be spent hanging out doing things you actually want to do! This video will go over some apps that I have loved to used while studying, some studying strategies, and some creative ways that I have found made studying in Nurse Practitioner and Nursing school easier. Happy Studying!
