In this weeks video I have my 6 week post partum visit, give you an update on how postpartum things are going in general, go to the eye doctor and discuss why that’s important to do as well as to educate your primary care patients to go. On the home front Avery decorates some pumpkins, Piper makes cute baby sounds, and Avery shows off her big sister burping skills.

🍞 OUR FIRST SOURDOUGH BREAD 🍞
Bread Baking with my Babies. In todays video my toddler and I will make sourdough bread. This is my first time baking sourdough with my new starter, and my daughters first time baking bread ever! I’ll give a few tips that I’ve learned for making sourdough bread and baking in general along the way, but overall I’m very very much a beginner. This is mostly just to be a lighthearted baking experience that may bring you some laughs and help you feel more confident about your own baking skills!

🎃 FALL FAMILY FUN 🎃
In this weeks video we do all the fall things! We’ll visit a local fair, the girls go to their first pumpkin patch, Avery and I bake some fall treats, and Piper has her one month well child exam. It’s another week of maternity leave for me, as I’m still on leave from my Family Nurse Practitioner job.
WHAT I WISH I KNEW BEFORE BECOMING A NURSE
What I Wish I Knew Before Becoming A Nurse. In today’s Video we will discuss just that! I’ll go over the reality of nursing, the good, the bad, and everything in between. The reality of a nurses schedule. What its like working nights, holidays, and weekends. The pro’s and cons of the schedule. Mandating as a nurse, mandatory overtime. Is being a nurse gross? And more. Hope it helps clarify if you are thinking of becoming a nurse but aren’t sure what it would really be like!
