THANKSGIVING 2018
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! In this weeks Nurse Practitioner Vlog I cooked a highly unusual amount, and even tried my hand at baking! Iāll share my families award winning (seriously!) Cranberry Sauce? Jello? Iām not sure what to call it. Whatever it is, itās delicious. We of course have Thanksgiving, decorate some for Christmas, and I had a really productive meeting at work with the physician and MAās I work with! Overall, awesome week. CRANBERRY SAUCE RECIPE
What you Need
- 1 box of Cherry Jello
- 1 box of Strawberry Jello
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 2 seeded, peeled, and chopped oranges
- 1 bag of cranberries
- 1 20 oz can of crushed pineapple
What to do
- Dissolve the jello and sugar in boiling water.
- Add cranberries and oranges
- Put Pineapple in a measuring cup. After pineapple is in the measuring cup, fill with water to 2.5 cups. Add this to your other mixture.
- Stir. Let it set overnight.
- Eat it all.
HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED AND PRODUCTIVE IN NURSING & NP SCHOOL
This video contains my tips for getting and staying motivated in nursing and NP school. Iāll share my tips for being a productive nursing and nurse practitioner student, and give insight on how I got things done when I felt like flopping on the couch and enjoying some screen time. I know Iāve feel āburnt outā oh so many times in my nursing and NP school career, and it can be overwhelming. You are not alone! You can absolutely do this and will make it through the semester!
GETTING LIFE BACK ON TRACK
Things have been a little chaotic in the last few weeks, and this week Iām trying to get my life back in order! In this weeks vlog Iāll take you along as I try to start my usual habits that keep me on track to feeling the best, which is so needed after this move! Iāll also share a nice win that I had at my job as a Family Nurse Practitioner. What wins have you had lately at work? Also, Christmas decorations are starting to pop up! I share some of my momās tips for decorating your inexpensive Christmas tree, making it look much happier!
