This week is part two of our family vacation, re-entry into the real world again as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and my Thirtieth birthday! I also have my 34 week baby update and appointment, and we talk a bit about how I have no idea what line to walk with my patients when they come in asking for tests they possibly don’t need.

HOW TO STUDY FOR ANATOMY
Are you about to take anatomy and feel a little overwhelmed? In this video I’ll share with you my tips for how I passed anatomy in nursing school. This video will be helpful for everyone taking anatomy, whether they are in nursing school, medical school, PA school, NP school, or any other healthcare science. I’ll also share some new ways that I would incorporate into my studying routine if I was taking Anatomy today. Anatomy is highly memorization based, so many of these tips would be applicable to subjects that are similar as well.
CELEBRATIONS & UPDATES
This week was exciting! We had our sixth wedding anniversary, went to some fun sunflower festival, Avery had her two year old well child check, and we headed off on our vacation! We also experienced our first full fledged airplane meltdown. Which was an adventure. Work was also cool because I am starting to feel more confident in my role as a Family Nurse Practitioner finally.
