This week I had my glucose tolerance test, got my Tdap and had my 28 week pregnancy appointment! We will talk all about gestational diabetes and the Tdap and why you get them. I’ll also take you along with the usual work week as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Oh and there’s foot updates, and a surprise visit to the OBGYN.

PEDIATRIC NURSING ASSUMPTIONS
In today’s video we are tackling all your assumptions about being a pediatric nurse! Are they true? False? It’s all in here! I’ve been fortunate enough to work with both adults and kids, so In the video we will do a bit of comparing, as well as setting the record straight on some of these interest assumptions!
TOE FIASCO
In this weeks vlog I demonstrate that I’m very pregnant. And very clumsy. When I’m not trying to break my foot, I go through my work week as usual and we discuss malpractice insurance, some of my go-to community resources for patients without insurance, and how I have the “you are going to die if you don’t change your ways” conversations with my patients. On the home front we have a super fun family day, make a sourdough starter, and pick out baby number two’s coming home outfit.
