This week we jetted off to Florida to visit Family and had a lovely Time watching Avery being cared for by people other than us. It also a magical experience because you get everywhere by golf carts and it looks like Disneyland. Basically I can’t wait to retire. We then returned to the usual work week. In the video I discuss how to handle new patients with acute complaints as an FNP as well as how I usually handle emotional patients, because you will definitely see that and its totally OK for the emotions to be all over when they see you! I also have another OB appointment and updates along the baby number two line.

CME’S & CRAVINGS
This week I realized I would eventually have to re-license myself and was quite surprised when I realized just how many CME’s (continuing education credits for NP’s) that I would need! As with most things, I didn’t look ahead and am now a wee bit behind. Fortunately, I had a fairly slow day at work so I was able to chunk away at some of them while rage eating cheez its to keep the nausea away! This week is pregnancy week 9 and also supposedly the peak of emotions and nausea. Clearly, It was a fun week. Enjoy, I hope this makes you feel far more sane because clearly I am not!
Here’s the Drunk Noodles I made! I did triple the sauce like the comments recommended and used chicken instead of shrimp and bell peppers instead of tomatoes. So good!
ADN vs. BSN
ADN vs BSN | Which Is Right For You? In Today’s video we look at just that! We will break down the differences and similarities between the Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). I’ll share some of the limitations and benefits of going the ADN route, offer my personal recommendation for your end goal, and offer my insight on some common myth’s about ADN nursing programs. Remember, both the ADN and BSN nursing programs provide you the opportunity to sit for the NCLEX which makes you a registered nurse, so you really can’t lose either way!
